Security
Sales conversations are some of the most sensitive data in your business. Protecting them is foundational to how we build Closer.

Encryption everywhere
All data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest with AES-256. Sensitive transcripts and recordings are protected the moment they reach us.
Access controls
Least-privilege access, scoped per user, with row-level isolation so your coaching data is never visible to other accounts.
Trusted infrastructure
Hosted on SOC 2-compliant cloud infrastructure with isolated environments, automated backups, and continuous monitoring.
No model training on your data
Your private conversations are never used to train third-party foundation models. AI providers process content only to generate your feedback.
Auditing and logging
Security-relevant events are logged and monitored so we can detect, investigate, and respond to anomalies quickly.
Responsible disclosure
We welcome reports from security researchers and aim to acknowledge valid submissions promptly and resolve them responsibly.
Data ownership and control
You own your data. You can delete individual practice sessions or recordings at any time, and you can request full account deletion, after which we remove your personal data within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
Compliance
We align our practices with industry-standard frameworks and applicable data-protection laws, including GDPR principles for users in the EU and UK. Enterprise customers can request our security documentation and a Data Processing Addendum using the form below.
Request security documentation & a DPA
Evaluating Closer for your team? Request our security overview, Data Processing Addendum (DPA), sub-processor list, and other compliance materials. Tell us what you need and our team will follow up — some documents are shared under NDA.
Report a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, please email security@closerai.dev. Please do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate it.
